This page lists the kinds of information Gold Alerts uses to run accounts, alerts, and billing. It will be replaced with a counsel-reviewed privacy policy.
What we collect
- Account email, and a password or a social sign-in via Amazon Cognito.
- Optional phone number, only if you enable SMS alerts.
- Alert preferences, profit profiles, warehouse favorites, and similar settings you save.
- Payment status through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Operational logs used to run scanners, deliver alerts, and debug the service.
- Analytics on public marketing pages (Google Analytics 4), segmented by hostname.
Why
To create and sign you into an account, send the alerts you asked for, bill Premium SMS if you subscribe, and keep the scanners and site working. We do not sell personal information.
Who else is involved
Sign-in runs through Amazon Cognito. Payments run through Stripe. SMS runs through Twilio. Public-page analytics run through Google. Each of those companies processes data under their own terms.
